Melanes, Naxos, Kykladen, Ägäis Inseln
In the wider area of the village Melanes, after the village Mili, at the region Flerio, in an important archaeological site, there is the Temple of the Springs. The place was dedicated to the goddess of euphoria and the heroes Otos and Ephialtes, who believed to protect the workers of the quarry. Close to the temple there is the entrance of the ancient aqueduct ending in Chora. Near the temple there is also the famous statue of Kouros.
