The Roman Forum used to occupy a surface of about twenty acres. There was a conservatory, city’s registry, mint, bath, shops. It is worth mentioning that statues, that used to be part of a colonnade, have been removed and are now on display at the Louvre. Today, the conservatory has been reconstructed and is used for various cultural events, while underground there is a museum with free entrance for the visitors.
