Ancient Dodona
Beschreibung
Ancient Dodona was a spiritual place and is the site of Greece oldest oracle, dedicated to Zeus. It was believed that Zeus used to speak through the sacred oak tree to the priests, who interpreted the oracles from its rustling leaves. The nearby theatre was one of the largest of antiquity (capacity: 18,000 people).
