The Hot springs of Polichnitos are 1 km away of Polichnitos heading to Vatera. The springs are of the hottest of Europe, where the water’s temperature reaches up to 92oC, whereas the temperature in the bathtubs is 40oC-41,5oC. There are swimming pools (separated men, women), as well as independent bathtubs. The water is odourless, enriched with natural radon radiation and is considered therapeutic for various diseases. During the winter the springs are visible from far away as the place is full of vapours!
