The triumphal Arch of Galerius (Kamara), asit is most known, is one of the most impressive roman monuments of Thessaloniki. The Arch is close to the Rotonda (Rotunda) and to the imperial palace and was connected to them. It was built in honor of the Emperor after the victorious campaign against the Persians.Today is a common meeting point of the citizens.
